You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the Public Works Department of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Salary Range: GS-09: $69,729 to $90,647 GS-11: $84,366 to $109,673

Duties

You will analyze production problems to suggest or implement corrective actions. You will recommend corrective action to management on variations impacting cost, performance, or scheduling. You will evaluate production work to determine the facility's readiness to start, perform, and complete projects on time. You will coordinate detailed work plans and schedules for the production of assigned workload. You will analyze production operations to determine if the schedule can be improved or to determine causes of delay.

  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

Qualifications

FOR GS-11 Position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing project data and work requirements; 2) Following progress of work and tracks and monitors the status and completion of work through Maximo; 3) Performing cost accounting and work order tracking for both in-house and contract execution; 4) Submitting funding documents to clients to acquire funds; 5) Monitoring all phases of work execution; 6) Monitoring estimated versus actual job progress and completion, materials status, authorizes variances and equipment utilization; and 7) Developing, preparing and reviews reports, spreadsheets, graphs, flowcharts and Power-Point presentations relating to production trending data (analysis), workload balancing, response standards, and product line metrics. FOR GS-09 Position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Monitoring the status and completion of work through Maximo; 2) Reviewing funding documents to clients to acquire funds; 3) Monitoring job progress and completion, materials status, authorizes variances and equipment utilization; and 4) Reviewing reports, spreadsheets, graphs, flowcharts and Power Point presentations relating to production trending data (analysis), workload balancing, response standards, and product line metrics. ***NOTE: This experience must be fully and clearly supported in your resume.
