You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITIES SUSTAINMENT COMMODITY SPECIALIST
in the PRODUCTION DIVISION, PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE.
Duties
You will serve as approving official for all facility service requests developed by Facility Management Specialists.
You will advise the Facility Management Division Director, the Utility Energy Manger, the Deputy Public Works Officer or the Public Works Officer as required of overall operations and problems.
You will review, prioritize, and approve sustainment work planned for both Shop's and contractor execution.
You will develop, justify and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual budget requirements for both in-house and contractor facility service and sustainment requirements under the parameters of the Navy General Fund program.
You will give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Capable to develop short- and long-range plans to meet facility sustainment requirements using such factors as workload budget. And manpower to accomplish and meet established facility sustainment objectives. 2) Capable to manage a multi-trade workforce comprised of HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, linemen, maintenance workers and other trades to support sustainment operations to facilities, roads, utilities, and other requirements to meet operational readiness to the base. 3) Develops, justifies, and executes monthly. Quarterly, and annual budget requirements for both the facility Sustainment commodity direct labor and overhead accounts under the as supported by funding received from higher and supported commands. 4) Manage and supervise all function related to Supply Chain Management with a staff of three consisting of an inventory Management Specialist, Supply Technician and Material Expeditor to include ordering and receipt of materials, warehousing functions, disposal of excess material, control of minor and sub-minor property and related supply functions. 5) Capable to implement and enforce rules.
