Vacancies will be filled in the following specialty areas:
SB/SE DEPUTY COMMISSIONER EXAM, SPECIALTY EXAMINATION, BSA EXAMINATION
The following are the duties of this position at the full working level:
Distributes, balances, monitors and reports on workload in accordance with established workflow or job specialization. Assures equitable distribution among employees and timely accomplishment of assigned work load.
Amends or rejects work not meeting established standards and refers to supervisor any problems on meeting performance standards.
Maintains current knowledge of procedures, policies and directives; answers questions; and provides both classroom and OJT instruction to employees.
Resolves simple informal complaints, refers others to supervisor; reports on performance, progress and training needs of employees and on disciplinary problems.
Performs administrative duties in the absence of the manager.
Makes suggestions concerning personnel actions and recognition of outstanding performance.
Qualifications
Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-06 LEVEL:
You must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-5 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience with work distribution and monitoring workload to report to management on work assignments. Experience researching policies, procedures and/or directives to answer questions and provide instruction to employees. Experience with using automated systems to gather information and/or resolve processing issues (e.g., SERP, IDRS etc.). Experience with resolving problems, and/or working with bankruptcy cases. Experience using verbal and written communication to assist with developing training material for the workgroup.
