This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base in the DoD. Duties
You will follow general instructions to perform work that requires moderately heavy physical effort and may involve a number of successive steps or processes.
You will run hand and power lawnmowers; clear small trees and bushes utilizing hatches, hand-saw or clippers and dig ditches where grading and sloping is not required; fill holes with dirt to level bumps and lowing places.
You will conduct housekeeping to include picking up trash and paper from grounds and working areas; collecting and emptying garbage cans.
You will load and unload hoses from hose carts.
You will move and arrange furniture, boxes, etc. as directed.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
- You must have the ability to distinguish basic colors and shades of color.
- You will be required to occasionally lift and carry heavy objects weighting up to 50 lbs.
- You will be required to frequently lift and carry moderately heavy objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- You will be exposed to dust, dirt, noise areas and drafts while working indoors.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
Qualifications
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
