You will serve as an Electronics Worker in the Operations Division, Audio Visual Support Branch of RECRUIT TRAINING REGIMENT.

Duties

You will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training for audio visual facilities, equipment, and systems. You will provide training to recruit Training Facility (RTF), All Weather Training Facility (AWTF), Field Training Facility (FTF), Depot Theatre, and Lyceum You will conduct proper start up and shut down, operation, troubleshooting, and function testing of audio visual equipment, systems, an facilities. You will provide custodial care of audio visual facilities.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION: 1) Installing, operating, and performing general maintenance on electronic equipment; and 2) Interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.
