Duties
As a Marine Transportation System (MTS) Cybersecurity, this position is responsible for the implementation and enforcement of all hazards and cybersecurity related executive orders, acts, regulations, laws, and Coast Guard policy supporting the safety and security of ports, maritime facilities, vessel, and waterways. Develops operational cybersecurity policies and assist in the implementation of policies, plans, procedures, and exercises for all cyber incidents that impact the marine environment, port security, or marine transportation.

- A one-year probationary may be required.
- This position requires a Secret clearance.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience includes the following:
Experience establishing and maintaining communication channels with stakeholders;
Experience assisting in the development of cybersecurity plans, strategy, and policy to support organizational cybersecurity initiatives and regulatory compliance; and
Experience assisting in the implementation of policies, plans, procedures, and exercises for all cyber incidents that impact the marine environment, port security, or marine transportation.
