This position is part of the Office of the Project Manager, Strategic Petroleum Reserve, Department of Energy. As a Inventory Management Specialist, you will serve as a senior Inventory Management Specialist for property accountability and supply program management in support of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve Project Management Office (SPRPMO).

- This position is approved to work remotely full-time, but the employee must be located within the New Orleans, LA locality pay area of the DOE Worksite and must be a realistic commuting distance of the DOE Worksite.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level 12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
Evaluating the effectiveness of current tools, policies, and processes.
Utilizing supply management principles practices and techniques with emphasis on the acquisition and distribution of inventories in bulk quantities.
Skill integrating data to develop information, options, and procedures to resolve difficult and long-standing problems.
Conducting assessments of industrial relations functions, programs, and systems of contractor organizations through recurring and special projects, review of audit findings, and on-site reviews.
