You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Financial Offices of NAVY MUNITIONS COMMAND, CONUS WEST DIV.

Duties

You will review, coordinate, and submit data calls. You will establish and implement timely corrective action plans as required. You will coordinate, review and submit all Key Supporting Documents for financial audit samples. You will develop and conduct internal reviews and sustainment sample testing. You will coordinate and ensure all month-end and year-end financial close tasks are completed by due date. You will serve as the primary liaison for financial system transition such as SABRS and CFMS. You will prepare Certified Obligation exhibits at the end of fiscal year close.

• This is a bargaining unit position.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and applying financial management data to support financial operations of an organization to include auditing financial records for compliance with internal controls.
