About the Position: This position is in the Travis Air Force Base Dir of Admin, Personel and Admistration. The David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California, is the United States Air Force's largest medical center in the continental United States and serves military beneficiaries throughout eight western states.

Duties

Provide administrative and technical supervision over all administrative functions. Manage and oversee the administrative and business operations for the directorate. Operate advanced word processing programs, personal computer, Microsoft programs, data analysis programs, etc. Serve as a hiring manager, developing and certifying positions descriptions, and initiating hiring requests for the organization. Serve as the initial point of contact for the directorate for directorate, command and tenant command staff and personnel.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: business administration, healthcare management, healthcare administration, organizational development. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
