You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the NAVAL FACILITIES SYSTEMS ENGINEERING COMMAND-SOUTHWEST of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. GS 9 SALARY: $69,729 - $90,647 GS 11 SALARY: $84,366- $109,673

Duties

You will distribute established controls and budget targets to leadership. You will use financial and execution systems to run detail reports, collect data, and analyze execution. You will analyze programs, historic trends, and budgetary data. You will work with analysts to track the expensing of funding documents.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Develop, present, and tracking of budgeting for Special interest Codes (SICs) for facilities investments and facilities services; 2) Ensuring funding is adequate and data calls are answered, and/or budgets are submitted in time for facilities support; and 3) Using automated Financial Information Systems (FIS) to develop statistical data for reports. NOTE: This information must be fully supported in your resume GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Utilizing NAVFAC systems (i.e, CONGNOS, MAXIMO, and SABRS) to monitor detail reports, collect data and analyze execution for leadership. 2) Working with others to gather the necessary documentation for funding request 3.) Understanding basic statistical, accounting, budget and economic principles and techniques. 4) Preparing and presenting reports, proposals, charts and graphs on recommendations and solutions regarding complex issues based on analysis to upper management/leadership personnel. Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.
