You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the ENERGY MANAGEMENT DIVISION, PUBLIC WORKS BUSINESS LINE of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will modify automated test equipment for use with electronic system or component testing. You will perform all phases of troubleshooting, installation, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems to maintain full performance capability. You will conduct calibration and repairs to the component level. You will review plans (e.g., system upgrades, modifications) to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications

GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Configuring, operating and programming different DDC system manufacturers; 2) Modifying and evaluating DDC systems; 3) Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing network devices including the installation, termination and testing of fiber optics; 4) Ability to read engineering plans/specifications; gather, analyze, and present data and supporting analyses. GS-10 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Configuring, operating and programming different DDC system manufacturers; 2) Modifying and evaluating DDC systems; 3) Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing network devices including the installation, termination and testing of fiber optics.
