You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ASSISTANT in the Communications & Resource Support Division, Information Technology and Communications Department (N6), Navy Recruitment Command (NRC) of NVRECRUITNGCMD.
Duties
You will use an automated system (e.g., management information system, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to extract information.
You will reconcile monthly statement transactions to verify accuracy.
You will obtain organizational data to generate financial documents.
You will review purchase requests in accordance with purchase procedures.
You will brief changes in processes, programs, or work operations to senior leaders.
You will write correspondence to provide administrative information to others.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Executing and maintaining files in accordance with organization policies, procedures, rules and regulations; 2) Preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents in draft and final format and ensuring quality products; 3) Providing administrative support and customer service in support of organization office operations; and 4) Utilizing computer software (i.e. word, excel, spreadsheet, data base applications).
