About the Position: Serves as a senior G-3/7 Regionally Aligned Readiness and Modernization Model (ReARMM) (DAMO-TRR) Staff Officer and subject matter expert for ReARMM. Provides analysis of a broad ReARMM actions within the HQDA, across the Army Staff, with The Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and with Army commands (ASCC, ACOM, DRU).

Duties

Review and analyze reporting requirements, developing database routines to extract information in a consumable format. Document and present methodology, analysis, findings, and recommendations to senior Army decision makers. Assist in establishing policy and Army guidance governing training programs/activities. Monitor Army implementation guidance and management control mechanisms governing Army Commands, Army Service Component Commands (ASCCs), and Direct Reporting Units (DRUs). Establish and maintain close coordination with Management Decision Package (MDEP) managers and the Training Program Evaluation Group to ensure training strategies are synchronized in the recorded program and budget.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This is a testing designated position. Personnel are required to sign DA Form 5019-R (Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified as critical under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program).
  • Personnel must pass drug screening prior to hiring and will be subject to periodic and random drug testing, thereafter, in accordance with AR 600-85 and Department of Defense Directive 2010.9.
  • This position may require occasional travel.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Clearance.
