About the Position: This position is with Army Reserve Medical Command (AR-MEDCOM) Deputy Chief of Staff, G8 Located in Pinellas Park, Florida.
Duties
Provide financial resolution to technical budget issues.
Analyze reports of financial information to eliminate costly errors.
Stay abreast of system technical aspects to ensure financial program areas don’t falter.
Develop recommendations for senior leadership based upon reports from program systems and databases.
Formulate multi-year programs that fund the budget requirements.
Develop a variety of reports to accomplish the financial audit readiness goals.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess a FM Certification Level 2.
- This position is subject to Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1.) Utilizing various financial systems to initiate reports, perform research, analyze financial transactions or adjustments, or resolve financial data discrepancies. 2.) Interpreting, applying, and providing guidance on regulations governing Financial Management and Accounting programs 3.) Gathering and analyzing financial program data to verify accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures; and 4.) Maintaining, evaluating, or improving automated financial systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
