Duties

The incumbent chosen for this position will serve as a computer clerk for the National Software Reference Library (NSRL). The incumbent will identify software for inclusion in the NSRL, obtain the software and assign metadata to it following processes established by the NSRL in order to collect the full and correct pedigree. The incumbent will also execute programs to schedule the processing of the software and to generate reports about the collection.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements: ZS-III: Applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at the GS-04 level (ZS-II at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience performing duties in database processing supporting software library automation. OR 4 years above high school OR Combination of education and experience which is equivalent to the one year of specialized experience. (NOTE: only education in excess of 2 years or 60 semester hours is creditable towards meeting the specialized experience requirement) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application. Education
