About the Position: This is a Lead Budget Analyst position located in Elemendorf, Alaska. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Perform a wide variety of analytical and administrative duties required as fund control analyst within the 673 MDG, to include planning, developing, formulating, presenting, defending, executing and reviewing annual and multi-year operating programs. Incumbent is delegated authority for administrative control of funds as necessary to support mission accomplishment. Develops fund control procedures in all phases of the formulation, programming, planning, and execution phases of the 673 MDG budget. Receive, distribute and administer funds issued to the Commander/Budget Officer, to include annual funding program, allotments, allowances, obligation authorities, reimbursable, and other fund instruments. Establish financial management procedures for continual review and surveillance of funds. Instruct employees in new procedures and provide ongoing guidance for problem/unusual cases. Review and interpret regulatory criteria as it applies to the work of employees led and answers employees, questions on policies, procedures and directives.

• Incumbent must obtain Financial Management Level 2 Certification within 2 years of employment.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
