Duties

Must be able to assist patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instructions, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc. Required to plan, conduct, publicize and arrange support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. Must provide leadership, guidance and oversight in program operations and on-the job training to new employees. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
• Incumbent must willing and able to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
