This position is located in the Management Directorate, Intake and Document Production, Document Management Division. As an Operations Support Specialist, you will assist in providing oversight and management of daily operations for the personalization of secure documents and centralized notice printing for the agency.

Duties

The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity. Assists team members to achieve specific tasks, produce work products, and meet program and production goals. Provide oversight and management of daily operations for the personalization of secure information documents including card production and notice printing. Supports the team by applying leadership and team-building skills, including group facilitation, coordination, coaching, problem-solving, integrating work processes and products, obtaining resources, and acting as a liaison with the supervisor. Accountable for outcome of results; timely delivery of quality work products, and services. Plans, conducts, or participates in projects and studies of substantive organizational functions. Identifies trends and provide assessments to organizational leadership. Develops, recommends, and evaluates policies, issuance's, and directives in assigned areas of responsibility, providing advice to immediate and division supervisors.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 05/14/2024. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 05/14/2024. GS-11: You qualify at the GS-11 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Utilizing secure document production equipment. Performing initial quality control and quality assurance on secure printed cards and documents. Providing technical guidance and operational support to colleagues. Conducting studies on current procedures and policies and providing advice to leadership. OR You may substitute successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or at least three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field related to the work of this position. GS-12: You qualify at the GS-12 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Utilizing inventory management systems for reordering of consumables used for card production. Performing quality assurance on final products of printed cards and documents. Compiling and completing a variety of reports from card production software and various databases to be sent to leadership. Serving as a subject matter expert and first point of contact for card production equipment, inventory management, and warehouse management needs.
