About the Position: This position is a part of the Navigation Division, Supply & Support section, Warehouse Unit. The position serves as a Supply Technician for the U.S. Moorings Warehouse Stock Record Account. The incumbent ensures an effective supply support operation serving Portland District and Northwestern Division Offices and field sites, and will be responsible for supply ordering, distribution, and accountability as well as the disposal of property and equipment.
Duties
Establish an authorized stock age list (ASL) for line items on the District Warehouse Stock Record Account (SRA) utilizing regulatory criteria and related catalogs.
Receives, accounts for, and delivers ASL and NSL to stock or to customers as appropriate.
Maintains the Due-in document register, verifies quantities and documents all receipts, prepares NSL for delivery and maintains the closed files.
Assists with preparing procedures for annual SRA inventory, participates in inventory process, performs causative research by checking all property records (such as purchase orders, receiving documents and issuing documents).
Inputs current and accurate postings of transactions to the SRA warehousing inventory system in order to maintain a true balance of stock.
Provides general support services for customers in Portland District and Northwestern Division to include furniture moves, furniture assembly, shipments supporting dredge operations, driving support, and conference room setup.
Employee provides customer visits to project offices to assist in all areas of SRA activities relating to stock control.
Picks up/receives and disposes of both common use items and complex equipment identified as excess property including computers, electronics, generators, floating plant, and ship parts, automotive, and communications property.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

- This position has a requirement to lif up to 45lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
- This positions requires you to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- This position requires you to obtain and maintain a forklift operator's certificate.

GS-07 Qualifications Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with automated supply and purchasing processes, monitoring authorized stockage lists (ASL) for stock record accounts (SRA), and disposal of excess property. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
