These positions are located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Philadelphia Field Division.
This position's primary purpose is to support the Field Division General Service Unit (GSU) Chief, providing overall planning and administration of programs, oversight and leadership to GSU in support of Division leadership.

As a Senior Mission Support Specialist your typical work assignments may include:
Performing administrative support services, to include Records Management, Privacy Act, official mail control, postal management, forms management, correspondence management, reports control, record keeping, etc.
Performing human resources liaison services, such as creating and submitting various personnel actions to Human Resources Office through the applicable DEA systems(s) and/or DEA HQ POCs.
Managing division fleet services, including vehicles timely maintenance, service, repairs, supplement equipment, and documentation.
Managing and executing projects related to the Division's personal property management, logistics, and inspections and internal controls functions.
Managing and executing projects related to the division Task Force Officer (TFO) program.
Requirements
- The incumbent must maintain required certifications and access to necessary systems to complete the work.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Qualification claims will be subject to verification.
You may qualify at the GS-12 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrate your ability in: 1) Advising supervisors, customers, and team members on administrative and management matters regarding policies, procedures and regulations that impact the operation of a division or major office; 2) Experience with executing supervisor's priorities and business operations in order to meet suspenses; 3) Managing day-to-day operations to support mission requirements; and, 4) Assisting in managing the business operations support activities and functions of an office and related to at least three of the following programs: Administrative Support Services, Human Resources Liaison, Fleet, Personal Property (accountable and non-accountable), Inspections and Internal Controls, Logistics, Task Force Officer (TFO) Management, Supply Management, and Records Management.
You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrate your ability in: 1) Advising supervisors, customers, and team members on administrative and management matters regarding policies, procedures and regulations that impact the operation of a division or major office; 2) Experience with executing supervisor's priorities and business operations in order to meet short and long range deadlines; 3) Managing day-to-day operations to support mission requirements; and, 4) Managing the business operations support activities and functions of an office and related to at least five of the following programs: Administrative Support Services, Human Resources Liaison, Fleet, Personal Property (accountable and non-accountable), Inspections and Internal Controls, Logistics, Task Force Officer (TFO) Management, Supply Management, and Records Management.
Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
