Duties

Prepares and serves food items which include, but are not limited to, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, lemonade drinks, etc. Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary. Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 40. Requires constantly standing, stooping, bending, walking and reaching. Able to work alone. Know the proper use of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Receives verbal and written assignments. Work is evaluated for accuracy, promptness and good customer relations.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages. Certificate of Medical Examination required.
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service, see www.sss.gov.

Qualifications

1. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds. 2. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
