Duties
You will serve as the NAVWAR/NIWC Pacific Research Technology Protection (RTP) Manager/Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Manager and the NIWC Pacific Operations Security (OPSEC) Manager.
You will provide oversight and support for all NAVWAR/NIWC Pacific operations or activities that produce, handle, or process Critical Information and support the protection of Critical Program Information (CPI).
You will provide planning, training, education, threat identification, and evaluation of vulnerabilities and development and implementation of countermeasures related to NIWC Pacific OPSEC mission requirements.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You must be able to pass random Counter-Intelligence Polygraph examinations.

Qualifications
NO-05:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provides planning, training education, threat identification, and evaluation of vulnerabilities and development and implementation of countermeasures related to OSPEC and/or provides Operations Security (OPSEC) oversight for command operations that handle or process Critical Information for all supported commands. Directs the protection of all Critical Program Information (CPI).
NO-04:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provides assistance in the planning, training education, threat identification, and evaluation of vulnerabilities and development and implementation of countermeasures related to Operations Security (OSPEC) and/or provides Operations Security (OPSEC) oversight for command operations that handle or process Critical Information for all supported commands. Assist in the protection of all Critical Program Information (CPI).

Education

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
