Duties

You will execute a variety of administrative support duties in the areas of finance, travel, supply, personnel automation, processes, shipping/receiving, and other programs. You will provide personnel with department and/or Command requirements, changes in policy, and conduct trainings as needed to achieve uniformity among technical offices. You will maintain office-filing systems to provide current, accurate, and timely information and data. You will perform duties with a strong sense of teamwork, customer service, and quality.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Managing travel requests, approvals, and ensuring appropriate supporting documentation is submitted within an automated travel system. 2. Performing a wide variety of administrative tasks to include scheduling appointments/meetings, answering calls, responding to routine requests for information and preparing/receiving shipments to ensure office functionality. 3. Utilizing computer software programs to prepare, format, proofread, and edit a wide range of correspondence, forms, or reports. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
