You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST within NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.\
This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
You will perform Navy-wide program oversight in acquisition, security, IT, logistics, financial management and cybersecurity.
You will be responsible for risk management and mitigation to protect the technology program and ensure that program cost, schedule, and performance are met within approved thresholds.
You will attend and provide security expertise and guidance at program technical meetings.
You will conduct site surveys and physical security accreditations.
You will interpret and implement organizational security policies and procedures.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following;
Developing and evaluating a full-range of program security documents, policies, and procedures and coordinates implementation.
Providing guidance for the issuance, control, education, and guidance relative to the security Classification Guide on all classified items or systems.
Providing daily security guidance and policy interpretation for contractors/government facilities.
Reviewing documentation required for classified information systems in accordance with the current security regulations.
