You will serve as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist (SYSANALYSIS) in the Infrastructure Division of CARDEROCK DIV NS. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.

Duties

You will serve as a lead technical IT Specialist to optimize and integrate a variety of system applications into all Infrastructure Division Processes. You will serve as the systems lead for all end-users across the entire Division, addressing questions, concerns, and issues related to Archibus. You will be responsible for managing facilities, technical code, and admin support work. You will propose and implement enhancements to optimize the use of facility specific systems. You will develop and conduct training programs for end-users to ensure proper and effective utilization of system functionalities. You will oversee the data management processes within the facility software systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of information. You will utilize facility systems to generate and analyze reports to provide insights into division performance.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 802, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing the implementation or management of Information Technology facility systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, or completeness of information or services. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
