The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC) serves as the Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM AC ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating and delivering technology-enabled armament solutions to our Warfighters. Armaments Center has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for new and existing armament systems which are in use by U.S. service members around the world.
Duties
Coordinate with, top management officials, both within and outside the command.
Provide full range planning, programming, budgeting, execution, analysis and reporting support in accordance with mission requirements.
Serve as the principal advisor for programs, finances, cost control and special assignments as they relate to the Investment Appropriations.
Applies comprehensive knowledge in policies or procedures. Recommendations are significant to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- Three-year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Two-year supervisory trial/probationary period may be required.
- This position requires DOD Financial Management Level III certification in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012,
- Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d. Certification is required for this position within 24 months of assignment.
