About the Position: Serves as the senior technical expert in all matters related to the acquisition, utilization, and disposal of real property at Fort Irwin and the National Training Center, a designated Limited Most Optimized Strategically Responsive facility.

Duties

Develops and coordinates real property documentation required for changes in legislative jurisdiction (exclusive, proprietary, concurrent) through HQ USACE and Commissioner, State Authorities. Directs and manages the technical preparation and update of the Installation real property inventory. Directs contract and technical compliance of automated and manual real property inventory systems. Directs the preparation of all ingrant and outgrant real estate documents. Ensures compliance with space utilization guidelines and consistency with the efficient and effective use of space at Fort Irwin.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience to the GS-11 level in the Federal Service which include: utilizing principles and practices of real property to carry out a variety of work assignments, prepare budget estimates, administration of real property contracts, and management and administration of computer-based real property inventory and analysis systems, to include "as-built" construction drawings and warranties, and real estate mapping. Based upon a thorough knowledge of real property principles and practices at the IMCOM and ACSIM level, the incumbent resolves complex, unique, and routine realty problems associated with the Installation. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
