About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Utilize office automation equipment, spreadsheets and word processors to prepare technical reports. Maintain safety record files, and supplies. Prepare information to be distributed to supervisors on accident reporting. Proofreads reports for correctness and compliance. Provide excellent customer service to incoming visitors.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The incumbent must meet all requirements for data analytics level 1 certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.
  • Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain Professional Certificate in Safety and Occupational Health (Level 1 Skills) within one year of employment
  • A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
