You will serve as a MANAGER in the FINANCE DEPARTMENT (10000) of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC.

Duties

You will be responsible for the local functions and duties flowing from the Chief Financial Officers. You will be responsible for financial requirements of Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) initiatives. You will provide decisions and recommend policy to management concerning financial policies, regulations, and procedures imposed by external authority. You will be responsible for the appropriate and judicious management of Navy Working Capital Fund (NCWF) as well as the appropriated and reimbursable operating funds received by the command.

• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overall responsibility for budget formulation, budget execution, financial management, managerial and cost accounting, audit, program analysis, and performance measures.
