Duties
You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation, compliance with regulations for goods and services provided.
You will record expenditures to aid management in compiling reports and preparing budgets.
You will prepare vendor invoices for payment; verify items received, prices and quantities by comparing purchase orders, receipt documents, and invoices.
You will answer requests and provide advice to employees, supervisors, financial specialists and personnel specialists on pay related rules, regulations, and procedures.
Requirements

- You will be required to meet any applicable credentialing or privileging requirements prior to appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Level I Financial Management certification.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing and reconciling detailed accounting and production reports/documents; 2) Preparing vendor invoices for payment; and 3) Using automated programs to prepare a multitude of reports, summaries, correspondence, etc., required for the dissemination of accounting information.

Education
In addition to specialized experience, you may also qualify for this position with education as follows:
Successful completion of four years of education above high school.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience, in which the percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
