You will serve as a Packer in the Warehouse Division of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.

Duties

You will check items to be packed against shipping document or invoices to insure correct identification and condition. You will perform loading of commercial conveyance, ensuring bracing and shoring of loaded material as required. You will pack materials and equipment in standard cardboard boxes and using wrapping when specified. You will move heavy equipment into position using hoists, forklifts or other means to accomplish the task. You will perform routine housekeeping and clean up both inside assigned work areas and outside on and around the loading dock.

• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current forklift license.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• You will be required to lift up to 40lbs in weight.

Qualifications
