About the position: This position will be assigned to the Bowling Center at Robins AFB.
Flexible employees have no guaranteed hours, but may work up to 40 hours per week. This position does not offer benefits.
Duties
Responsible for manning the customer service desk within the bowling center. Assignments include a wide variety of tasks such as those described. Collect and account for cash assigned. Provides customers information about programs and events happening within the bowling operations of the facility. Assigns lanes, issues rental shoes and rental lockers. Receives fees related to the bowling program including rental shoes, lineage fees, lockers, birthday party fees, pro-shop sales, and special function fees. Assists patrons in the selection of bowling equipment and is available to answer any questions. Receives cash and credit card payments from customers while securing these forms of payment and reports for tracking purposes. Answers telephones, maintains center in a neat and sanitary condition. Returns bowling balls back to racks. Able to perform minor work on pin-spotters.

Qualifying Experience:
Practical knowledge of bowling activities, rules, and procedures. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of bowling equipment is desirable; however, no experience is required. Knowledge of computers and bowling automatic scoring system is desirable.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
