This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Region, Choctaw Agency, Office of the Superintendent, Transportation in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Duties

Operates engineering and construction equipment such as bulldozers, angle dozers, motor graders, front-end loaders, backhoes, trench diggers, etc. Responsible for carrying out the day to day details of seasonal road maintenance operations. Assists mechanics, as required, in the overhaul/repair of equipment. Keeps field records on equipment maintenance and operation.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Job Qualifications System for Trades and Labor Occupations (X-118C, Qualification Standard Handbook) will be used in determining applicants' qualifications. There is no specific length of training or experience required; however, you must be able to demonstrate through the experience shown in your written resume and your responses to the Occupational Questionnaire that you possess the competencies to perform the duties of this position without more than normal supervision. One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
