This position is located in Yosemite National Park, in the Administration Division. This is a temporary promotion not-to-exceed 1 year. Duties

This position manages the administrative and business operations for Yosemite National Park. The Chief of Administration/Business Management is the principal advisor and management consultant to the Superintendent and park management team for administrative matters. Directly manages budget execution and formulation, strategic planning of resources, housing, information management, property and fleet and warehouse management, as well as serving as the park's human resources and contracting liaison supporting approximately 700 employees annually. Manages a budget of over $30 million in base funding and approximately $70 million in fee, revenue, donations and reimbursable funding. Responsible for advising park management team and staff on all administrative matters in the park. Guiding management and staff of the park toward effective management of the park's business.

All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-05/08/2024. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. For current Federal employees, if hours worked per week are not included on your resume, you must submit a non-award SF-50 for each federal position listed as part of your application to be used to validate your work schedule and determine the amount of qualifying experience that you will be granted. An award SF-50 will not be acceptable documentation for which to consider your amount of qualifying experience. For periods of time that reflect military service, the DD-214 or Statement of Service is sufficient to meet the full and/or part-time hours requirement as the service dates will be reflected. To qualify for this position at the GS-14 grade level, you must possess all of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement: EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience must include all the following: Lead an administrative organization, managing through subordinates the following functions: budget/accounting, information technology, property/fleet, and housing. Serve as the organization's liaison with human resources and contracting. Understand federal appropriations and federal policy associated with human resources and contracting. Serve as lead advisor to the organization for all administrative matters. You must include hours per week worked.
