The primary purpose of this position is to perform technical, administrative, budget and clerical work in direct support of the 10th Contracting Squadron. Serves as the Defense Travel System (DTS) Reviewing Official, Finance Defense Travel Administrator, Government Purchase Card (GPC) Approving Official and Budget Analyst.
Duties
Independently performs a variety of budgetary and administrative functions.
Independently performs a variety of complex budgetary, administrative, clerical and statistical functions to support the squadron.
Performs budget analysis, coordinates the distribution of allotments and tracks the availability of funds for program purposes.
Serves as the organizational point of contact and liaison with the personnel flight on civilian personnel issues.
Serves as the subject matter expert for mandated administrative support programs.
Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-02, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-07 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include planning and organizing management programs and functions of an organization to include but not limited to Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, safety program, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program and unit award/recognition program; assisting/supporting military and civilian personnel issues; knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents; problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems; plan, organize work, and meet deadlines. Performing a variety of complex budgetary, administrative, clerical and statistical functions; consolidates budget estimate and prepares all required documentation for review and funding authority; performing budget analysis, coordinates the distribution of allotments and tracks the availability of funds for program purposes.

2. Ability to research, analyze, interpret and apply rules, regulations, and procedures; ability to execute projects and/or studies within established financial and time constraints. Ability to communicate orally and in writing; maintains good working relations.
3. Ability to stratify resources against approved programs, to plan, present, and execute budgets, to analyze budget impacts on programs, and to forecast long-term funding requirements. Ability to plan, conduct and record surveys and inspections.
4. Ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.
5. Knowledge of the operations, products, services, needs, and goals of the program(s) and the organizations studied or served, and related customers, functions, resources, and users.
6.The employee must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
