Duties
The candidate will serve as a Conference Room and AV Services Coordinator for the NIST Public Affairs Office (PAO) Conference Program and AV Services (CPAVS) group. The incumbent would be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks for the NIST Events Facility and meetings. The candidate will as serve as NIST's point of contact in making these shared spaces customer-friendly, clean, safe and secure. The candidate will be responsible for: coordinating meeting requirements; providing user guidance and training; creating and managing online registration sites, badges, and event pages; coordinating audio-visual services, food and beverage functions, and meeting room setups.

Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must possess one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level (ZS-III at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience supporting meetings, such as booking meeting room space, coordinating AV services and food and beverage services requests. The candidate must have working knowledge of technologies that support meetings (conference room booking systems, online registration systems, virtual meeting platforms), managing timelines for multiple meetings and projects simultaneously, collaborating with other team members to address client needs while maintaining client and customer satisfaction by responding to requests in a timely manner and resolving issues, making recommendations in processes and operations, strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, and proven writing skills to communicate services to users.
