Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will be placed in a pay status and can expect to work a minimum of 19 pay periods not to exceed a maximum of 25 pay periods. You will be place in a non-pay status from approximately 11/18 to 2/25 unless other work exists that can be assigned to you during this period.
Duties
This position is located at William Howard Taft National Historic Site in Cincinnati, OH.
Safely operates motor vehicles.
Operates power equipment such as lawn mowers, blowers, and all types of hand tools (such as shovels, rakes, lawn edging equipment, etc.)
Maintain buildings, grounds, roads, trails, etc.
Loads and unloads supplies and materials from trucks, trailers, dollies, etc.
Moves and removes and sets signs, paints picnic tables and signs, rakes and waters lawns, trims trees and shrubbery, and picks up litter.
Moves heavily loaded wheelbarrows and hand trucks.
Uses heavy type power mowers including adjusting blades, cleaning and oiling.
Performs janitorial duties for buildings.
