Duties
Executes football program administrative operations and acts as a director of staff of all football program entities. Oversees the day-to-day operations and organization of the football program and serves as the program representative, as required. Serves as the central administrative point of contact for all of the following but not limited to: program operations, compliance, recruiting, nutrition, equipment, sports medicine, strength & conditioning, assistant coaches, video, and other offices involved in football operations. Works closely and coordinates with the Director of Player Operations on all matters related to Cadet standards. Develops a strategic partnership with the Head Coach, understanding desired direction and guidance for football operations. Responsible for working with the Football Sport Administrator in formulating the annual program budget inputs. Responsible for anticipating needs, planning, and coordinating with all travel and logistics offices and functions. Executes and provides oversight and reconciliation of travel costs, expenses, and monitors budget adherence. Serves as the day to day football liaison to media relations, Athletic Department facilities, stadium facilities, game/event management, recruiting/admissions, and marketing teams. Maintains strategic partnership and liaison relationships between the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC) and government offices. Serves as the football camp and clinic liaison to AFAAC. Plans and executes team events, meetings, communications, schedule, and manages/maintains appropriate electronic database accounts.
Responsible for ensuring all assigned football program staff/personnel are aware of, and follow, all NCAA compliance rules, regulations, and requirements. Coordinates with internal compliance offices and administrators to meet all recruiting, training, and conference requirements. Required to attend all Mountain West Conference, NCAA, and/or College Football Playoff Director of Football Operations meetings and calls. This position will have a demonstrated commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Mountain West Conference, and Air Force Academy rules, regulations, and standards. Works with recruiting and admissions offices to ensure all potential cadet candidates meet all required appointment milestones. Coordinates with the Director of Player Operations and other U.S. Air Force Academy mission elements to ensure adherence to cadet standards and NCAA regulations. Ensures football operations remain aligned with institutional, NCAA, and Mountain West Conference standards, rules, regulations, and procedures. Coordinates, advises, and represents the football program, in an administrative function, to all internal and external meetings and functions.
This position will function as the main liaison between the football program and the offices of the Director of Athletics, the AFAAC and business offices, and other football-related offices. Anticipates and integrates football administrative operations in support of the service academy mission. Maintains the professional and ethical standards of the Academy. Ensures proper execution of football operations, proactively embraces the U.S. Air Force Academy Core Values, Institutional Outcomes, Character Development Outcomes and institutional regulations and operating instructions. Actively accepts responsibility as a role model and mentor to cadets. Maintains memberships in appropriate professional organizations, attends conventions, maintains liaison with others in the field to include military and civilian universities.
This position requires working some evenings and weekends, including during holidays.
This position requires travel to all away Air Force Football regular and post season/bowl games.
This position requires regular travel on military and commercial charter aircraft.
Other duties may be requested by the Head Coach, Football to be assigned at the discretion of the Senior Associate Athletic Director/Football Sport Administrator.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum requirement is a Bachelor's. Must have relevant experience in athletic operations or associated athletic administration at the intercollegiate of professional level.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred minimum of 5 years working within NCAA rules and with football terminology within a Division I/FBS or FCS athletic department.

EDUCATION:

FOREIGN EDUCATION:
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the educational requirements. However, you must show proof that the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in a conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying in the form of an "official" statement of U.S. equivalency from a Department of Education approved (non-federal) agency (i.e. AICE, NACES), who will complete a U.S. Standard of Education Conversion.
