About the position: This position will be assigned to the Nellis Inn on Nellis AFB, NV. Flexible employees have no guaranteed hours , but may work up to 40 hours per week. This position does not offer benefits. This position is for ALL shifts. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Duties

Receives and confirms room reservations by letter, telephone, email, or personal contact. Calculates and posts charges to patrons' accounts and balances totals with control records. Accepts payment, makes change, and presents departing guests checkout statements. Prepares and safeguards cash receipts, prepares daily cashier's report, daily activity report, and may prepare consolidated daily activity report. Prints backup reports from property management system. Records and notifies appropriate person/organization of maintenance problems reports by guests. Process Night Audit procedures and close credit card machines nightly. Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• This position requires the incumbent to meet state and legal age requirement for sale of alcoholic beverages, which is 21 years of age.
• This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations

Experience must have demonstrated the ability to resolve common arithmetic problems, and to make change when receiving payment from customers. Ability to read, speak, and write English.

Education
