About the Position: This position serves as technical and procedural support to the Administrative Officer, staff of the Administrative Section, and Project personnel at a major multi-purpose hydroelectric plant project that also includes various natural resource and recreational areas covering several locations.

Duties

Advise management and staff on administrative office functions/procedures. Maintain the Project's timekeeping entry and leave requests. Coordinate with Human Resources on recruitment requests and actions for Project. Manage the Government Purchase Card and supply inventory for the Project. Maintain the Project's accident reporting program. Employee in-processing and out-processing.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License.
  • Required to complete initial Government Purchase Cardholder training to obtain and maintain a Government Purchase Card (GPC) within 6 months of being appointed.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
