This TRAINING TECHNICIAN position, is located in the Force Development Office with an Air National Guard (ANG) Wing, Mission Support Group, Force Support Squadron or Flight and is part of the CA 163 ATKW. This position is concurrently announced with AGR A24-120. Only one of the announced positions will be filled. Referral and selection will be IAWCNGFPR335.

Duties

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the TRAINING TECHNICIAN, GS-1702-9, is to schedule all formal initial skill, refresher and proficiency training for both officer and enlisted members, which include providing staff planning and multi-level assistance to ensure that required military training objectives are achieved for all assigned units.

General Experience: Must possess education and validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. Experiences, education, or training that demonstrated the ability to follow directions, read, understand, and retain instructions, regulations, and procedures that otherwise demonstrates the ability to perform or learn to perform the duties of the position. TRAINING TECHNICIAN, GS-1702-9: Must have at least 12 months experience equivalent to the GS-07 level. Experience that demonstrated the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (Competencies/KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position; Experienced in conducting and developing education and training programs. Experienced in audio-visual presentations, educational tests and measurements, and instructing techniques; Experience in training program management; scheduling training events and facilities; conducting assistance visits and training meetings; work center and individual job qualification standard development; education institution registration requirements; military personnel classification system and policies; communicative interpersonal skill applications; and distance learning concepts. Experienced and effective communicator.
