About the Position: Performs administrative and professional work requiring the application of accounting, budgeting and manpower principles, theories, concepts, and practices to ensure that financial management, manpower, and accounting systems produce accurate results and meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Duties

Review and approve expenditures to ensure they are legal, proper, correct, within the local operating budget, and in accordance with the appropriate laws, regulations, and guidelines. Perform special studies, analysis, and/or audits to identify accounting, budget, and manpower deficiencies. Review and approve transactions for accuracy, legal compliance, and budget agreement within financial and personnel focused databases. Draft briefings to summarize manpower, accounting, and/or budget issues and/or impact of policy changes.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver’s License.
  • The duties of this position require Travel less than 10% of the time.
