About the Position: This position is with Resource Management Office, Budget, Manpower and Management Branch located in Los Angeles California. Recruitment/Relocation Incentives are not authorized.
Duties
Serves as a Senior Budget Analyst within the Resource Management Office, Budget, Manpower and Management Branch, USACE, Los Angeles District.
Performs a variety of program planning and analysis work in the formulation, justification, and/or execution of such complex areas and multi-program budgeting.
Analyzes program and budget guidance and instructions from higher headquarters to determine impact on organizational operations.
Assists the Budget Officer and Lead Budget Analyst as well as SPD Budget Officer and her staff and/or other operating officials in the execution of program resources.
Receives, distributes, certifies and administers all funds distributed to the COE, Los Angeles District.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes budget preparation, formulation and execution to include regulations, cost estimates and financial databases. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
