You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION SE & ALRE GROUP AIRCRAFT LAUNCH & RECOVERY EQUIPMENT DEPARTMENT BL10000 of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Duties

You will create and update Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD), process Source Data Revision Requests and provide input to the program’s Weapon System Planning Document (WSPD). You will manage logistics programs/projects and ensure that requirements, objectives, and metrics are met. You will manage acquisition/sustainment efforts and gather metrics for readiness reports. You will be responsible for all resource management, logistics technical/ product data management.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following duties: Planning, managing, and executing field integration and life cycle supportability of Aircraft Launch & Recovery Equipment (ALRE), and Support Equipment systems. Developing and implementing logistics policies, controls and operating procedures during all phases of the life cycle. Analyzing requirements and deficiencies and formulating logistics solutions to ensure Fleet capability and operational readiness. Leading multi-disciplined teams of government and/or contractor personnel responsible for executing sustainment efforts for aviation equipment, and Collaborating and proposing recommendations to senior officials concerning program status, direction, resources, and schedules.
