You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will initiate and expedite material requisition actions to support programmed and scheduled workload.
You will review day-to-day production status of jobs to verify progress or completion.
You will analyze production costs and manpower utilization data to observe trends in production time, costs, and efficiency.
You will use Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, word, Power Point, Outlook, Visio) to develop reports and present to management.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receiving requests for facilities maintenance and repair work projects and other related services; 2) Analyzing project data and work requirements; 3) Tracking and monitoring the status and completion of work through Maximo; 4) Assisting in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, flowcharts, and Power Point presentations relating to trending data (analysis), workload balancing, response standards, and product line metrics; 5) Supporting Emergency Service work by providing dispatching services, including electronically transmitting work orders and updating/closing projects; 6) Coordinating with Planners, Project Managers, Materials Buyers, Contract Specialists, Comptroller personnel, Trades Supervisors, and other service providers as needed to coordinate the work, provide project status, exchange status data, negotiate changes, resolve problems, etc.; 7) Assisting in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, flowcharts, and power point presentations relating to trending data, workload balancing, response standards, and product line metrics.
