Tour of Duty: 7:00am to 7:30pm or 7:00pm to 7:30am with rotating weekends Salary: this Specialty LPS N05Y is from $73,718 to $136,509 Community Living Center/ hospice: The Hospice Care unit is a 12-bed unit located in the Valor Way Neighborhood of Military Manor- Community Living Center. Care is provided for Veterans, regardless of age or service connection, with a terminal diagnosis and prognosis of less than six months. Tour of Duty: Night Shifts: 7:00pm to 7:30am with rotating weekends Salary: this Specialty LPS N0CL is from $69,622 to $128,907 Home Base Primary Care (HBPC) Nurse: is a home care program designed to meet the longitudinal, primary care needs of an aging veteran population with complex, chronic, disabling disease. In contrast to the episodic, time-limited and focused skilled care services reimbursed by other funding mechanisms such as Medicare, HBPC provides comprehensive longitudinal care of the patient often for the remainder of their life. Tour of Duty: Day Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30am to 4:00pm Salary for this Specialty Ranges LPS ND46 Ranges from $67,594 to $125,167 Infusion Nurse: The registered nurse executes medical care including but not limited to; education regarding treatment, care, stress reduction nutrition, pain, and administration Chemotherapeutic agents/hydration/lVIG/blood products, Insertion of IV catheters, intravesical oncology and immunotherapy treatments, sterile procedures, access of ports, constant assessment for possible changes during administration of medications, phlebotomy, injections, secure messaging, encounter/clinical reminder completion, and other duties as needed. Patients who present to the ED are seen by the ED Intake nurse who enters presenting complaint. The patient is seen in ED Triage, assessed, and the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) level is determined. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English. Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE); OR Individuals attending a master's level bridge program in nursing who have completed coursework equivalent to a bachelor's level degree in Nursing may have opportunity to become registered as a nurse with a state licensing board prior to completion of the bridge program. Upon achievement of a State license, the individual may be appointed on temporary basis and later converted to a permanent appointment upon successful completion and graduation from the bridge program. (Reference VA Handbook 5005, Appendix G6); OR In cases of graduates of foreign schools of professional nursing, possession of a current, full, active, and unrestricted registration will meet the requirement for graduation from an approved school of professional nursing to warrant an appointment as a Nurse who has completed an associated degree/entry level Nursing education program. Credit for foreign nursing education higher that associate degree/entry level requires a formal degree equivalency validation from a recognized equivalency evaluation accepted by VA such as International Consultants of Delaware (ICD).
