About the Position: Oversees the development and management of supply actions for classified and unclassified training exercises and events with US Army Central, Mission Training Complex (MTC).

Duties
Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all functions related to the MTC logistics program that is Government-Owned and Contractor Operated.
Identify, account for, control, issue, and dispose of all property, equipment, and supplies including unique electronic equipment and state-of-the-art automation hardware/software.
Plans and conducts inventory management studies on property utilization.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, acquisition officials, maintenance personnel and others in all supply matters.
Provide authoritative interpretations and guidance to customers, management officials, and other supply specialists at the Headquarters level and lower echelons of the organization.
Execute actions involving control and accountability of property, supplies, and equipment management to include recommendations for redistribution and requests for disposal, inventory and storage management, and scheduling maintenance support.
Requirements

- Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and access.
- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 10% of the time.
- May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and both planned and unscheduled overtime with short notice.
- This position requires a pre-placement medical and annual medical surveillance exam in accordance with Occupational Health requirements.
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) identifying, analyzing, and resolving supply issues and problems; (2) utilizing automated property book systems to account for items; (3) providing technical guidance to staff members and supervisors regarding property accountability and supply procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: supply chain management.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
