You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST of NLSC.
Duties
You will ensure immediate responses to routine and technical requests for information such as
status reports, suspense dates for matters requiring regulatory compliance, and similar
information readily available in files and databases.
You will assist attorneys and paralegals in researching case law, administrative law, federal and
state statutes, and other regulations, directives, notice, and manuals. Selects relevant material for
claims attorneys.
You will independently control and manage all incoming correspondence using established office
procedures and knowledge of the organization.
You will perform as a direct supervisor to three or more civilian employees (ranging from
GS-6 to GS-9).

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Identifies a need for and knows where or how to gather information; organizes and maintains information or information management systems. Determines its importance and accuracy, and communicates it by a variety of methods. 2. Anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external customers. Delivers high-quality products and services; is committed to continuous improvement. 3. Work that supervises, leads, or performs legal assistance work that requires specialized knowledge of processes, procedures, and practices to support legal activities. 4. Knowledge of research or special study techniques to provide analysis of a variety of topics. 5. Understands and interprets technical material, rules, regulations, and instructions; applies to specific situations. 6. Makes well-informed, effective, and timely decisions, whether data are limited or vast; or solutions produce unpleasant consequences; perceives the impact and implications of decisions. Analyzes critically, synthesizing patterns among divers systems and looking at interdependencies. Gauges unintended consequences. Uses sound judgment to simultaneously integrate and weigh situational constraints, risks, and rewards. 7. Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, legal practices and documents, Government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, Government organization and functions.
