About the Position: Serve as an Administrative Officer for the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Headquarters, Executive Office in Cincinnati, OH.
Duties
Serve as an Executive Assistant for the Commanding General, Deputy Commander, Directors and Chief of Staff with responsibility for administrative management of support services to include personnel, manpower, and budget functions.
Perform a wide variety of essential administrative support functions.
Provide administrative management and oversight for personnel, manpower, and budget functions of the Executive Office.
Make all necessary arrangements for travel, producing schedules of visits, making transportation and hotel reservations.
Analyze relevant policies and systems, identifies probable cause(s) of problems, develops improvement or action plans, and enlists executive and administrative support for making the needed changes.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes providing administrative management and oversight for personnel, manpower, and budget functions; evaluating methods for administrative and related management matters in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness for an organization; and communicating goals and changes through meetings and written correspondence with high level organization officials.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
