This position is part of the, The National Mediation Board. The incumbent will be responsible for daily entering all case information in the case
management system. Provide guidance and information regarding the proper filing of cases and the submission of briefs to the NRAB. Receives proposed awards from referees and reviews for accuracy and correcting errors. Assist with EEOC compliance reviews, research official documents, and compiles statistical data for the MD 715 Report and Form 462.
Duties
Responsible for daily arbitration case management in accordance with the Office of Arbitration Services Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) which includes assigning case numbers, entering case information, and adding cases to the Arbitrator Workspace (AWS) database.
Assign cases to arbitrators upon request of the parties.
Notify arbitrators of non-compliance with due dates and generate a non-compliance report for the Director of Arbitration Services.
Assists with EEOC compliance reviews, researches official documents, and compiles data for the MD 715 Report and Form 462.
Support other departments during peak activity.
Qualifications
At the GS-11 level, you must meet one of the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes experience includes experience entering information daily into a case management system, and assisting in compiling data for annual report and budget submissions. Generating case handling reports; administering a docket of cases and funds; including the number and type of disputes and number of cases closed. Assist with background information for Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) compliance reviews, research official documents, and compiles statistical data for the MD 715 Report and Form 462.
OR
A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if in a related field;

A Combination of education and experience as list above.
